Trina Nishimura

Trina Bubble_1

Brandishing her voice just as Mikasa wields her blade; Trina Nishimura has sliced her way through the Anime world over the past few years, primarily working with FUNimation Entertainment. From meager beginnings as the little hungry girl Namiko in Desert Punk, to her much anticipated and lauded appearance as Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan; Nishimura’s agile voice has brought her critical acclaim, and unprecedented fan support.

Fans will recall Trina’s many dutiful portrayals in such works as Claymore (Flora and Sophia), , Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple (Shigure Kosaka), , School Rumble and Yurippe School Rumble: 2nd Semester (Akira Takano), Baccano! (Rachel), Sgt Frog (Ghost Girl), and the ever popular Witchblade (Shiore Tsuzuki), to name a few.

More recent work includes Luna in Cashern Sins, Mizune in Soul Eater, Francesca Lucchini in Strike Witches, Lan Fan in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Sohara in Heaven’s Lost Property, Aiko Kudo in Baka and Test, Mari Makinami Illustrious in Evangelion 2.22 & 3.33, Kurisu Makise in Steins;Gate, Mamitas in Space Dandy.

Trina is that rare breed of performer who not only embodies her characters, but also embraces her fans…taking time to make appearances across the US and Canada. Though her voice and talents have taken her, and her characters to every corner of the globe….her heart will always belong to Texas, and Taco Villa.

Starbuxx is a cosplayer from South Florida and has been cosplaying for five years. She started out thrifting bits and pieces and altering clothing to suit her cosplays, and kept working until her sewing skills grew to where she started making her own full outfits and armour by hand. She loves the fun of the craft and enjoys photo shoots immensely; she takes nearly all of her own photos! When she isn’t crafting or shooting her costumes, she is taking photos of her pets and figures.

IneedSugar Cosplay

Award winning Louisianan Cosplayer, Ineedsugar, has been a cosplayer since 2008, her early focus being friends improving her craft, she became hooked on competing because of the wonderful people it allowed her to meet and the great advice judges gave her as constructive criticism. Outside of cosplaying, Sugar is a classically trained seamstress and alum of LSU’s Apparel Design program and works as a freelance pattern maker/digitizer. After winning numerous awards with her cosplay and fashion design adventures, she took up judging Cosplay Contests as a way to share the knowledge she’s picked up from over a decade of hard work. Her favorite part of cosplay is the learning and growing community that supports each other and never stops improving
